Thank you for stopping by our website. The club has been in existence since 1986 and is located inside the Lewis County Historical Museum which was formerly the Chehalis Northern Pacific Depot. The museum is located at 599 NW Front Way, Chehalis, WA, 98532.
Our 15' x 54' HO Scale (1:87 scale) model railroad represents Lewis County WA plus the former Northern Pacific Railroad Willapa Branch Line that ran from Chehalis out to the coast at South Bend. The trains you will see running on the layout represent the railroads that serve or have served the area. A variety of towns, businesses and industries from the area are represented on the layout. The model railroad is always being added to and improved. The layout is available for viewing during normal museum hours. Please check the museum's website at for the hours plus a list of special events.
The club meets every Friday 2 pm till at least 7 pm. Business meetings are the first Friday of the month and operating sessions are held every third Friday of the month. Operating sessions are open by invitation. We also have trains running during museum special events. See the museum website for the events schedule.
Please look through the rest of the website to see details about the layout, its construction, how it is operated, and pictures of some of its features. You will also find information on the Train Shows and Swap Meets that we sponsor plus an application if you wish to sell at any of our shows.
Again, thank you for stopping by our website and I hope you can come by for a visit.
